Big Brother doesn’t scare me.
O’Brien doesn’t scare me.
Only Parsons scares me because I know people like that.
I’m going to put this with my 365 films challenge/thing (which I’m miserably failing at) and tell you to read the book (oh, we’re talking about 1984, by the way). The film is all right, but it’s a bit slow-paced, and there are a few things I wish they’d included.
(For example, possible spoilers, the rhyme that ends with, “Here comes a candle to light you to bed,/ And here comes a chopper to chop off your head!” It would have been nice if that part was mentioned earlier in the film, so it would, you know, have some sort of impact.)

Basically a good film, but go read the book.
